Tennessee Baja Racing is a student-led engineering organization at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville that designs, builds, and competes with a high-performance single-seat off-road vehicle in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Baja Racing Series. Each year, students take on the challenge of engineering a durable, high-performance vehicle capable of excelling in dynamic off-road competitions that push every part of the design to its limits.
Through this hands-on project, students gain real-world experience in design, manufacturing, testing, and project management—preparing them for future careers in engineering.
Your gift today will help fund materials, tools, and components for the 2026 competition vehicle. Your support ensures students can complete the car, compete in September, and continue gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
Tennessee Baja Racing proudly represents the Tickle College of Engineering at public events and competitions against top engineering programs across the state and across North America. Your support empowers students to gain real engineering experience that goes far beyond the classroom—and helps carry the Volunteer spirit to the national stage.
