In times of disaster and emergency, Vols step up to help Vols! Join UT Knoxville’s efforts to address the immediate needs of students experiencing hardships that impact their access to essential needs. Your gift to the Basic Needs Emergency Fund provides life-changing assistance to UTK students in need due to a crisis or unexpected event that limits their ability to support their basic needs.
Many of our students work hard to put themselves through school, and the Center for Basic Needs is committed to helping meet their needs in uncertain times by covering critical needs such as preventing utilities from being turned off, avoiding eviction, or a vehicle repair.
The Basic Needs Emergency Fund can give UT students the ability to overcome difficult setbacks and achieve greater academic success.
UT Knoxville faculty and staff can set up a payroll deduction in support of this fund.
