SHPE at UTK is raising funds to help send our members to the 2026 Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) National Convention.
The SHPE National Convention is the largest gathering of Hispanic STEM students and professionals in the country and provides incredible opportunities for professional development, networking, and career advancement. By attending, our members will have the chance to connect with hundreds of leading companies, participate in technical and leadership workshops, attend career fairs, and build relationships with professionals and students from across the nation.
Our goal is to help students gain access to internships, co-op opportunities, and full-time careers while also developing leadership and communication skills that they can bring back to our local chapter and campus community. Many of our members are highly motivated engineering and STEM students who may not otherwise have the financial ability to attend a national conference of this scale without additional support.
Funds raised through this campaign will help cover travel, lodging, registration, and other expenses associated with attending the convention. Any additional funds raised beyond our baseline goal will allow us to support more student attendees and continue investing in professional development opportunities for our chapter throughout the academic year.
Your donation directly supports student success and helps create opportunities for future engineers, innovators, and leaders at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. Every contribution makes a difference and helps our members represent UTK on a national stage while growing personally and professionally.
